Few people realise the extent of a funeral director's service. It begins when we are called and ends only when it is as perfect and complete as we can make it. On average 38 man-hours go into the arrangements and direction of each funeral, regardless of its cost. The following is a general list of the services we provide each family.
- Prompt removal of deceased from home or hospital to funeral home at any time of day or night.
- Meeting with the next of kin to take down and implement instructions pertaining to the wishes of the deceased.
- Placement of press notices with local newspapers.
- Printing of Hymn sheets / Funeral programmes.
- Ordering or floral tributes.
- Arranging a venue of Service (Chapels, Churches and halls).
- Arranging and liaising with Minister / Celebrent (including handling of donations where required).
- Confirming of Organist
- Co-ordinating and supplying refreshments.
- Preparation and presentation of deceased for cremation or burial.
- Registration of death with the Department of Home Affairs after having secured paper work from Medical Practitioners.
- Certification of important documents including death certificate.
- Transportation to and overseeing of cremation.
- Collection and safe processing of ashes for collection by next of kin.
- Supplying a hearse and conducting of complete funeral.
- Availability of homely discreet viewing rooms.
